B. How are hydrothermal vents formed?
C. What organisms can do chemosynthesis?
D. What types of life are found near vents? Name some.

Already done with the packet?  You get to practice our vocabulary and food chain and food web making skills for the test and 6 weeks exam.
No one can play other games without Ms. P.'s permission

Play at least 2 of these 3 games:
  • Play the Producers Consumers Decomposers Game to practice vocabulary
  • Play the Food Chain Game at to practice your food chain completing skills.
  • Play Chain Reaction and play through the northern and forest food chains.  Pay close attention to what happens when you remove one organism from the food chain.
Play Food Fight:
  • Play Food Fight to practice making food webs.  Your goal is to make a food web that supports your organism. Choose organisms by scrolling with arrows, there are a lot of choices! The arrow spins to show whos turn it is.  Mouse over the cards to see who is prey or predator to your that, green are prey, red are predators to the card you're on.  Read the wild cards - often they are helpful.  Play with a friend and you can both get it done at the same time, or play by yourself just to practice.
Here's a hint - plant a lot of plants!

If you have time - Go explore and play more games:
Go to Here and choose any games you want to try out.  Practice your food chain and web skills and vocabulary.
