Option 1 (up to 15 points) -
Research and write the following:
The origin of the names of each planet other than Earth and a summary of one myth involving the namesake character.
Option 2 (5 points) -
Show your work mathematically:
Make a list of the diameters of all planets except Earth. Add them together and subtract the total from the distance between the Earth and the Moon. Summarize the meaning of your results in 2-3 sentences.
Option 3 (up to 15 points) -
Make a small poster or travel brochure (8.5x11" or larger, your choice) of your favorite planet or object from the solar system. Include statistics we researched, Mass, Length of day and year, plus 2 or more unique things about it. Include images (hand drawn, printed, colored, etc).
